  • RiverDogs Offense Heats Up in 7-2 Win Over Suns
    The Charleston RiverDogs trailed the Hagerstown Suns by one run after the first five innings, but came back to score seven runs over the next two frames en route to a 7-2 win Tuesday night at Municipal Stadium.

  • Frare, Rincon Promoted to Tampa; Rogers Added to RiverDogs Roster
    The New York Yankees have announced that left-handed pitcher Caleb Frare and right-handed pitcher Angel Rincon have been promoted to the High-A Tampa Yankees and that right-handed pitcher Sean Carley has been sent to Extended Spring Training. In addition to the two players leaving, the Yankees have announced that left-handed pitcher Josh Rogers has been promoted to Charleston from Staten Island.

    The Charleston RiverDogs will help Lowcountry citizens celebrate the state of South Carolina's Tax Free Weekend in the Souvenir Store at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park from Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9.

    The month of August has begun and when the Charleston RiverDogs return home on Thursday, August 6 for seven more games at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park, there will be an assortment of new and exciting food and beverage items from which to choose.

  • RiverDogs Can't Overpower Suns, Fall 5-4
    The Charleston RiverDogs rallied back to tie the game in the ninth after falling into an early three-run deficit, but the Hagerstown Suns walked off in the bottom of the frame to win 5-4 in the series opener Monday night at Municipal Stadium.

  • RiverDogs Kick Off August With Seven Exciting Days of Promotions
    Following a week on the road in Maryland, the Charleston RiverDogs happily return to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The Savannah Sand Gnats (Mets affiliate) visit the Lowcountry for four games followed by an off day Monday, and then three games against the Lexington Legends (Royals affiliate). Both Savannah and Lexington will be making their second and final visits to The Joe this season.

    The Charleston RiverDogs lost 3-1 to the Delmarva Shorebirds in the four-game series finale, and season-series finale Sunday evening at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

    The Charleston RiverDogs were shut out in both games of Friday's doubleheader against the Delmarva Shorebirds, falling 4-0 and getting no-hit in the first game and dropping the second game 2-0 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

  • San Francisco Giants Scout Ed Creech to Be Inducted in the Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame
    Highly respected San Francisco Giants scout Ed Creech, a native of Columbia, SC who helped mold the likes of J.D. Drew, Shane Victorino, Javier Vazquez and Milton Bradley, will be enshrined in the Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame on Friday, August 7, prior to the Charleston RiverDogs game against the Savannah Sand Gnats at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.
