    The Charleston RiverDogs were outlasted by the Delmarva Shorebirds in 10 innings on Saturday night in Maryland as the RiverDogs saw their six-game winning streak snapped as they picked up their first loss of a six-game road trip.

  • RiverDogs Blank Shorebirds to Win Sixth Straight
    The Charleston RiverDogs shutout the Shorebirds, 5-0, on Friday night at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to pick up their sixth win in a row. Daris Vargas got the win as three pitchers combined for the shutout effort.

  • SoCal Swinging Catcher Afenir Joins RiverDogs Roster
    Audie Afenir joins the RiverDogs roster in the midst of a seven-game road trip up North. The 2015 draft pick will make his 2016 debut as a member of the RiverDogs as announced by the New York Yankees on Friday.

  • Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame Seeks Nominations
    The Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame is seeking nominations from the public for the Class of 2016. Seven candidates will be selected from the pool of nominations and put up to a vote from the general public with the honorees being honored at a RiverDogs game.

  • Rogers Gets Call to Tampa as Righty Hurler Morris and Outfielder Vidal Join RiverDogs
    The New York Yankees have announced that LHP Josh Rogers has been called up to High-A Tampa as RHP Christian Morris joins the RiverDogs roster. Also joining Charleston will be OF Carlos Vidal after starting out the season in Extended Spring Training.

  • Acevedo Fans Nine as RiverDogs Top BlueClaws, 3-2
    The RiverDogs ace logged a season-high eight innings of work while allowing just two hits as the the RiverDogs clinched their fifth series victory of the season in a 3-2 win over the BlueClaws. Angel Aguilar slugged his second home run of the season in the win.

  • RiverDogs Crack BlueClaws, 7-3, in 11 Innings
    The RiverDogs added another comeback victory to their resume, overcoming a two-run deficit in the eighth before jumping all over Lakewood with four runs in the 11th inning to take a 7-3 victory over the BlueClaws on the road Tuesday night.

    The Charleston RiverDogs walked off for the second night in a row on Sunday night, defeating the Augusta GreenJackets, 5-4. Jhalan Jackson picked up his third walk off hit of the season in the five total walk off wins for Charleston this season.

    An RBI single by Jhalan Jackson in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the RiverDogs their fourth walk off victory of the season to complete the sweep of the evening's doubleheader against the Augusta GreenJackets on Saturday night at The Joe.

    The Charleston RiverDogs and the Augusta GreenJackets were stopped of play after three innings because of rain. The two teams will pick up where they left off in the top of the fourth inning, Saturday, April 23rd at 6:05pm.
