With the 2012 pitchers and catchers reporting date drawing close, The Yankee Roll Call crew returns for another run for World Championship #28.

 

The news that core four member Jorge Posada will announce his retirement after 17 years and 5 championships in pinstripes has been received with a sigh of relief by Yankees fans. This is definitely the right way to end a celebrated career as a valued member of multiple championship teams in the Bronx. I for one can’t wait for Jorge Posada day at the stadium.

 

Mr. Torre has resigned his post at MLB headquarters to head a group to buy the Bums in LA, Theo has landed in Wrigley to try to resuscitate a failing Chicago club, the Gingers have hired Bobby V who hates the Yankees as their manager and the New York brain trust is fast at work trying to find the next Kei Igawa. Business as usual around MLB.
